Hi there! Thanks so much for stopping by. As you can tell from the picture above, I'm married to a deliciously handsome man and we have three energetic rascals. The husband and I are both veterans (he Army, myself Air Force) and we've lived in various parts of the country.

My husband, Gabe, is currently doing a third deployment overseas (this one as a civilian contractor) and the kids and I have moved back to my hometown in North East Ohio. To add to the mix, I started my own business as a Birth Doula. Life is always throwing us something different and we're learning to just sit tight and enjoy the ride!

I blog about whatever happens to pop into my head when I sit down to write. So if you like inconsistent rambling about every day real life, stick around. You'll get plenty of that here.

And to throw in some random facts...

I enjoy cooking and baking. 
I love playing sports and grew up dreaming of doing gymnastics. I settled on cheerleading in high school and absolutely loved it. 
I know how to play the trumpet and was quite good at it. 
I just had to have a sewing machine and bought one on sale on Black Friday of 2011... never used it but I have the best intentions of making all kinds of great things. 
I'm studying to be a doula, childbirth educator, and breastfeeding counselor. S l o w l y but surely I will get there. 
My favorite color is yellow. 
I love road trips.
